• Schréder Project Lead – Support Manager at Schréder
• Tiago Almeida – Tech Lead and Jira Consultant, Xpand IT
Schréder required an integration to connect their Jira Service Management instance with that of a key customer. Both parties use Jira Cloud, with Schréder handling hardware-related support for the customer. To streamline the support process, Schréder’s customer needed to avoid direct engagement with Schréder’s support portal. Instead, Schréder sought a solution where issues created by the customer would be synchronized directly with Schréder’s Jira Service Management, allowing the Schréder team to address issues without requiring any customer involvement. Key synchronization requirements included comments, statuses, and other critical fields.
The integration encompasses:
Issue Types: Incident, Information Requests, Problems

Additionally, Itim is integrating also comments, attachments, and statuses:
• Business Alignment – Comprehensive solution meeting Schréder’s business needs
• No-Code Integration – Simplified, code-free configuration
• Reliability and Responsiveness – Consistent, real-time data synchronization
• Autonomous Integration – No customer involvement required
• Centralized Management – Single UI for ease of administration and minimal maintenance
For Schréder and Xpand IT, the ideal solution needed to enable seamless management of the integration without access to the customer’s Jira environment or involvement from the customer’s side. This requirement eliminated the possibility of installing any applications on the customer’s system or asking them to manage integration-related tasks. Getint’s Jira-to-Jira integration solution met these exact needs, offering a remote license that allowed Schréder to manage the integration solely from their Jira instance.
During the evaluation, Xpand IT also explored Exalate but encountered obstacles such as the need for installation on both Jira instances, which added complexity and reduced stability. Getint’s centralized UI and ease of setup made it an attractive alternative, and with no need for custom development or scripting, Schréder and Xpand IT were able to deploy the solution immediately.
In addition to technical functionality, Schréder and Xpand IT appreciated Getint’s customer-centric support approach, noting the helpful and flexible attitude of the Getint team throughout the onboarding and configuration processes.
Over the past year, Schréder has continued to benefit from Getint’s reliable and seamless integration solution, recently renewing their license. Both Schréder and Xpand IT commend Getint’s straightforward, powerful UI, which allows them to manage the integration without involving the customer at any point. The stability and ease of maintenance have reinforced Schréder’s confidence in Getint, making it an invaluable asset to their customer support processes.
